A Bit About Sophia Therapy Services

At the heart of Sophia Therapy Services is a strong drive and passion to provide excellent, evidence based speech and language therapy services for all those in need.

Vanessa Arias, owner of Sophia Therapy Services, graduated from San Jose State University, and earned a Tapestry Scholar Grant, a specialized focus of studies addressing multicultural speech and language services. Since graduating in 2016, Vanessa has created programs for outdoor therapy camps, worked with Autism programs and medically fragile populations, as well as gained expertise in the areas of early intervention, apraxia treatments, and social language therapy. She has also had the privilege to volunteer in Peru, providing speech and language therapy services in areas where access to speech services are few
